Concierge Service

Our Concierge Service can assist patients, relatives and guests with a variety of personal services and needs. If there is anything that we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please do not hesitate to contact the Concierge Service by calling us at 724-258-1444 or from in-house phones by dialing extension 1444, send us an e-mail, or visit our desk located in the Main Hospital Lobby.

The MVH Concierge Service provides:

  • Referrals and directions to local restaurants, parks, businesses, florists
  • General transportation information
  • Arrangement of discount accommodations for out of town guests
  • Rental car information and reservations (for drop off at MVH if necessary)
  • Airport transportation arrangements
  • Web searches for flights, weather and business information
  • Room service provided by the MVH Food and Nutrition Department
  • Wheelchair assistance
  • Guest escort to ancillary departments, patient rooms or our Dining Room
  • Scheduling hair care (shampoo, cut, and/or style)
  • Laundry or dry cleaner (pick up and delivery)
  • Letter, card or package mailing
  • Personal shopping
  • Gift wrapping
  • Pet care arrangements
  • Clerical Services (photocopy, fax, phone calls)
  • Local calling courtesy phone
  • Notary, Living Will and Durable Powers of Attorney services
  • Free Medical Bill Advisor services
  • Patient Rights and Responsibilities information
  • MVH Volunteer Program information
  • Assistance with MVH job application
