The Ringgold High School girls soccer team recently donated $800 to Monongahela Valley Hospital's Charles L. and Rose Sweeney Melenyzer Pavilion and Regional Cancer Center. For the third year, the team held a Pink Out fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness month and the senior Lady Rams recently met with hospital staff to present the check. Their three-year total is nearly $3,000. Breast Cancer survivor Kathy Cameron, of New Eagle, wife of Coach Tom Cameron, spearheaded the committee that organized the fundraiser. Mrs. Cameron received her treatment at MVH. She is shown (seated) with Ashley Parnell and Caylee Miller, both of Monongahela.
