Monongahela Valley Hospital held its 35th annual Auxiliary Appreciation Dinner June 24 in the Anthony M. Louis J. Panza Jr., MVH president and CEO, led the evening's festivities by welcoming and thanking the group for all of their compassion and passion for their volunteer efforts.

Duo, Ron Olson and Dr. Charles Stewart, performed their Frank Sinatra musical style prior to the award presentations.

Each year, the Auxiliary also selects a teen volunteer who demonstrates exceptional skills and is seeking a career in the field of health related sciences to receive a $500 scholarship to the school of their choice. This year's winner, Harley Bobnar of New Eagle, was unable to attend due to early college commitments. Her mother, Saundra, in attendance with her father, Mark Bobnar, accepted the award on Harley's behalf. Saundra stated that her daughter was accepted to Washington and Jefferson College to major in biochemistry.
