Position: Strategic Application Specialist Full-Time
Description: Strategic Application Specialist. Position: Phlebotomist (Part-Time - Temporary)
Description: MVH is looking for a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team. Summary of Phlebotomist duties: collect blood specimens, smears and other biological specimens from inpatients/outpatients; perform therapeutic phlebotomies, to perform minor tests such as coagulation time and bleeding times. REQUIRED: High school diploma (or GED), and CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMIST. Must be willing to work shifts as scheduled according to the needs of the department.

Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L)
Description: Valley Outpatient Rehab (VOR) is seeking both part-time and casual COTA/L for our skilled care location in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. This COTA/L will work under the supervision of our staff OTR/L implementing and providing treatment programs for our largely geriatric population. Summary of Position: • Provide treatment programs under the supervision of OTR/L - assist in identifying and modifying goals, determining treatment priorities and progression, implementing and providing treatments programs, participating in patient care conferences and providing family education and training. • Coordinate patient care with other skilled nursing and rehab staff in addition to families/caregivers. • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient performance and progression via therapeutic documentation as well as progress reports to physicians and insurance carriers. • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Position: Speech Pathologist (Part-Time Temporary)
Description: We are looking for a part-time Speech Pathologist who will be accountable for the evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of inpatients, patients on the Rehabilitation Unit, and a variety of Monongahela Valley Hospital’s local community sites; encompassing pediatrics, skilled nursing, and outpatients. Position: Physical Therapist (FT Temporary and PT Regular)
Description: We are looking for a full-time temporary and part-time regular Physical Therapist who will organize, conduct, and supervise medically prescribed physical therapy programs to assist patients in restoring function to their fullest potential; prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. Summary of position: • Evaluate through specialty tests and develop a plan of treatment for the patient upon referral and/or consult with physician and give recommendations as to the type of treatment which is indicated per patient diagnosis. • Administer variety of treatments associated with physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically, physical measures utilizing the properties of electrical stimulation, heat, cold, water, sound, massage, mobilization and the use of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitative procedures including training in functional activities with our without assistive devices, for the purpose of limiting or correcting any physical or mental conditions. • Perform treatment procedures following prescribed methods and observes treatment effects; recommends change to physician if indicated. • Confer with patients pertaining to home treatment program as prescribed. Discuss care requirements, and plans with patients so as to secure their cooperation and understanding. • Maintains standards as set by American Physical Therapy Association regarding treatment procedure and professional code of ethics. • Perform other duties as assigned. Education/License: Must have attained at least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education and satisfactorily passed a written and/or oral practical examination which shall test an applicant’s knowledge of sciences, as they related to physical therapy procedures and therapy. Description: Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying high frequency sound waves (Ultrasound) to body parts to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data to aid the radiologist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Position: Respiratory Therapist (Per Diem)
Description: Monongahela Medical Supply Company located on the campus of Monongahela Valley Hospital in Monongahela, PA is hiring a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to cover Westmoreland, Fayette and parts of Allegheny County to deliver and set up CPAP, BIPAP and NIV equipment. Provide education and guidance to patients with their therapy and supplies, to help our patients be compliant and experience a better quality of life. Education and/or Experience Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy is required. Certificates, License, Registrations or Professional Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance per company policy. Must have a reliable vehicle.
