Position: Strategic Application Specialist Full-Time
Description: Strategic Application Specialist. Position: Speech Pathologist (Part-Time Temporary)
Description: We are looking for a part-time Speech Pathologist who will be accountable for the evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of inpatients, patients on the Rehabilitation Unit, and a variety of Monongahela Valley Hospital’s local community sites; encompassing pediatrics, skilled nursing, and outpatients. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients; and an understanding of age specific needs. Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Description: Valley Outpatient Rehab (VOR) is seeking both part-time and casual PTA’s for our outpatient and skilled care locations. This PTA will work under the supervision of our staff PT implementing and providing quality treatment programs. Summary of Position: • Provide treatment programs under the supervision of the PT - assist in identifying and modifying goals, determining treatment priorities and progression, implementing and providing treatments programs to include various physical agents, and providing patient education and training. • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and rehab staff in addition to families/caregivers. • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient performance and progression via therapeutic documentation as well as progress reports to physicians and insurance carriers. • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Position: Physical Therapist (FT Temporary)
Description: We are looking for a full-time temporary Physical Therapist who will organize, conduct, and supervise medically prescribed physical therapy programs to assist patients in restoring function to their fullest potential; prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. Summary of position: • Evaluate through specialty tests and develop a plan of treatment for the patient upon referral and/or consult with physician and give recommendations as to the type of treatment which is indicated per patient diagnosis. • Administer variety of treatments associated with physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically, physical measures utilizing the properties of electrical stimulation, heat, cold, water, sound, massage, mobilization and the use of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitative procedures including training in functional activities with our without assistive devices, for the purpose of limiting or correcting any physical or mental conditions. • Perform treatment procedures following prescribed methods and observes treatment effects; recommends change to physician if indicated. • Confer with patients pertaining to home treatment program as prescribed. Discuss care requirements, and plans with patients so as to secure their cooperation and understanding. • Maintains standards as set by American Physical Therapy Association regarding treatment procedure and professional code of ethics. • Perform other duties as assigned. Education/License: Must have attained at least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education and satisfactorily passed a written and/or oral practical examination which shall test an applicant’s knowledge of sciences, as they related to physical therapy procedures and therapy. Position: Respiratory Therapist (Per Diem)
Description: Monongahela Medical Supply Company located on the campus of Monongahela Valley Hospital in Monongahela, PA is hiring a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to cover Westmoreland, Fayette and parts of Allegheny County to deliver and set up CPAP, BIPAP and NIV equipment. Provide education and guidance to patients with their therapy and supplies, to help our patients be compliant and experience a better quality of life. Education and/or Experience Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy is required. Certificates, License, Registrations or Professional Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance per company policy. Must have a reliable vehicle. Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Hold a current respiratory license in the state of practice. Hold all applicable licensure and is in good standing with in the state. At least one year of related experience is preferred.

Position: Process Improvement / Financial Analyst
Description: We are looking for a full-time professional associate to join our team as a Process Improvement/Financial Analyst. The associate will coordinate the financial and operational process improvement within the Healthcare System. The Process Improvement/Financial Analyst manages and operates the Cost Analytics solutions to drive process improvement opportunities and leverage data to identify and coordinate best practices, process variation reduction, and cost reduction. Summary of position: • Works with financial and medical teams to design and implement clinical improvements to reduce variation. • Develops project plans, goals, and identifies resources needed for projects, maintaining a good quality service from the team by ensuring standards are established and maintained. • Develops schedules and methods for measuring results, guides and performs analysis for the project. • Coordinates all resources with direction from senior management. • Meets with senior leadership team and medical staff to review expectations and the status of project specs to ensure model requirements are being completed within scope of project. • Verifies process improvement results by conducting system audits. • Work with the MVH team to champion and facilitate change. • Document customer current state and desired future state which incorporates intended costs analytics improvements. • Develop and provide educational tools to drive process improvements. • Proactively identify risk throughout the project and escalate both internally and externally as appropriate. • Work with medical staff to develop best practices that will minimize process variation and maximize cost reduction. • Perform other duties as assigned.
