Position: Medical Dosimetrist (Full Time)
Description: Dosimetrist is responsible for determining treatment dimensions by means of computer and or manual computation with the training and expertise necessary to deliver a prescribed radiation dose and field placement technique under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. The Dosimetrist must also perform and participate in the simulation dose computation, isodose plans, and other aspects of treatment planning for patients receiving external beam radiation therapy. Assists with treatment simulation when indicated for treatment planning. Our Cancer Center houses Elekta Agility Linear Accelerator with SRS and SBRT capabilities. Monaco, MIM and XIO planning systems with Mosaiq information system are used at the center and throughout the network for treatment planning and as information and image management systems. It is expected of the candidate to be proficient in the above systems and in 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS (cone and non-cone based) planning. Minimum Education requirement -Graduate from college /university or ARRT certified Radiation Therapists; CMD-Certified Medical Dosimetrist. Preferred three years experience.

Position: Clinical Dietitian Full Time
Description: MVH is looking for a full time Clinical Dietitian who will be responsible for the Medical Nutrition Therapy for the inpatient, outpatient, and community members of the Monongahela Valley Hospital service areas. This position requires a dedicated individual who demonstrates a systems approach to patient care, education, quality, and management. The Clinical Dietitian will translate patient care and education into actions that produce high quality, cost-effective outcomes that address objectives of MVH. EDUCATION and REXPERIENCE: Registered Dietitian, or registration eligible (must pass exam within 1 year of hire date), RD registration, LDN, and three years of progressive experience in a hospital setting.

Position: Phlebotomist (Part-Time - Temporary)
Description: MVH is looking for a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team. Summary of Phlebotomist duties: collect blood specimens, smears and other biological specimens from inpatients/outpatients; perform therapeutic phlebotomies, to perform minor tests such as coagulation time and bleeding times. REQUIRED: High school diploma (or GED), and CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMIST. Must be willing to work shifts as scheduled according to the needs of the department.

Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L)
Description: Valley Outpatient Rehab (VOR) is seeking both part-time and casual COTA/L for our skilled care location in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. This COTA/L will work under the supervision of our staff OTR/L implementing and providing treatment programs for our largely geriatric population. Summary of Position: • Provide treatment programs under the supervision of OTR/L - assist in identifying and modifying goals, determining treatment priorities and progression, implementing and providing treatments programs, participating in patient care conferences and providing family education and training. • Coordinate patient care with other skilled nursing and rehab staff in addition to families/caregivers. • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient performance and progression via therapeutic documentation as well as progress reports to physicians and insurance carriers. • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Position: Help Desk Analyst (FT)
Description: MVH is looking for a full-time Help Desk Analyst. SUMMARY: 1. Serve as a liaison between IS and user department(s). Directly supports the use of the Help Desk for problem resolution of software, hardware and network issues. Resolving user problems can take place both over the phone, working with or emulating the user, or in person at the user’s location. 2. Assist the other analysts in completing required daily operations procedures. These include: HCIS reports, system backups, monitoring of background jobs or processes, etc. 3. Position: Physical Therapist (FT Temporary and PT Regular)
Description: We are looking for a full-time temporary and part-time regular Physical Therapist who will organize, conduct, and supervise medically prescribed physical therapy programs to assist patients in restoring function to their fullest potential; prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. Summary of position: • Evaluate through specialty tests and develop a plan of treatment for the patient upon referral and/or consult with physician and give recommendations as to the type of treatment which is indicated per patient diagnosis. • Administer variety of treatments associated with physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically, physical measures utilizing the properties of electrical stimulation, heat, cold, water, sound, massage, mobilization and the use of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitative procedures including training in functional activities with our without assistive devices, for the purpose of limiting or correcting any physical or mental conditions. • Perform treatment procedures following prescribed methods and observes treatment effects; recommends change to physician if indicated. • Confer with patients pertaining to home treatment program as prescribed. Position: CCN Navigator
Description: Monongahela Valley Hospital is seeking a Navigator that will be accountable for identifying financial barriers to care and opportunities to assist patients and caregivers to overcome those barriers. The position will be part of the new Community Care Network! Summary of position: • Identifies potential financial barriers to care. • Identifies resources such as Pace, Medicaid, and copay assistance that may assist the patent in obtaining needed assistance. • Ensures a high level of customer service, and resolves issues promptly that may arise. Provide suggestions for service improvement. • Solicits patient resource assistance through local community service organizations and charitable foundations. • Works collaboratively with the pharmacist to identify to identify low-cost access to medications as needed. • Ensures a high level of customer service. Coordinates scheduling. Actively participates in training of Health Coach Program. • Attend training and educational seminars as approved by the CCN Executive Director that are geared toward community resources related to chronic disease, patient's ability to obtain and self-manage medications, food disparity, and transportation. • Perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be able to identify patient financial needs as well as the resources available to resolve the issues identified; have the ability to work in a team environment and resolve complex patient problems, and demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology. Candidates applying for the position must have good computer skills including proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft applications, as well as familiarity with local, regional, state and national support/ advocacy organizations that provides assistance and services to patient in the community. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to evolving goals and requirements and to test new approaches to improved patient care. The incumbent will travel to patient homes, physician offices, and other locations. The position will also organize, and lead community events and new initiatives that support and engage community members or organizations to support patients in the CCN. The work schedule will vary to meet the needs of the patients, and coordinate services 24/7 for the Community Care Network. Experience: • Experience in financial counseling preferred and an understanding of health care disparity issues, financial interventions, and the ability to interact with patients and families of diverse cultural backgrounds. • Experience participating in hospital care transition improvement programs preferred. Coordination of care for individuals with chronic conditions, and complex medical and social needs; preferably in a hospital care transition improvement program. • Leadership and clinical problem solving skills Education: Graduation from high school or business school required a BS degree preferred. Three years of experience in a health care field, navigating the exchange, and/or financial counseling experience preferred.
