Description: Performs ongoing observation of the cardiac monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms correctly. Detects and promptly reports changes in parameters monitoring cardiac rhythms. Must be Paramedic or LPN with Arrhythmia Education to qualify for this position.

Position: CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER - Full Time
Description: Monongahela Valley Hospital is looking for a full time CRNP. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a psychiatrist, and will provide clinical support in the behavioral health unit and with the inpatient population. Position: CCN Clinical Dietician (Full Time)
Description: MVH is seeking a Dietician (Full-Time) to conducts nutrition assessment, which may include: physical assessment, medical record review and patient interview for guidance in planning medical nutrition therapy. Implements nutritional therapy based on clinical privileges, protocols, or MD orders. Serves as resource person in nutrition care for CCN, medical, nursing and community needs. The Dietician will follow patients into their home environment for monitoring and continuation of care. The position will also organize and lead community events and new initiatives that support and engage community members or organizations to support patients in the CCN. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Registered Dietitian (RD) or registration eligible. (Registration eligible – registration exam must be passed within 1 year of hire and individual must have completed the required 1200 hours of supervised practice experience that is required.) Also, carries LDN (Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist) through the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Valid Pennsylvania Professional License. Familiarity with local, regional, state and national support/ advocacy organizations that provides assistance and services to patient in the community. Has an in-depth understanding of food disparity issues and expertise in resolution of nutritional barriers to care.

Position: Environmental Aide (Part Time)
Description: MVH is looking for a part time Environmental Aide who will complete a variety of housecleaning functions performed under specific instructions. The person will be responsible to clean areas within the Hospital (such as patient rooms, offices, restrooms, floors, etc.). The person will also bag, collect, compact, and/or package hospital waste. Position: Unit Clerk (Full Time)
Description: MVH is looking for a unit clerk to perform clerical, receptionist, and communication duties in the Nursing Unit. The unit clerk will function as a liaison for Nursing and interdepartmental communications; prepare requisitions for laboratory, x-ray tests, and procedures; enters temperatures, blood pressure, and other data. Experience with computers, and other office equipment necessary. Unit Clerk Certification and/or Unit Clerk experience preferred.

Position: Medical Dosimetrist (Full Time)
Description: Dosimetrist is responsible for determining treatment dimensions by means of computer and or manual computation with the training and expertise necessary to deliver a prescribed radiation dose and field placement technique under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. The Dosimetrist must also perform and participate in the simulation dose computation, isodose plans, and other aspects of treatment planning for patients receiving external beam radiation therapy. Assists with treatment simulation when indicated for treatment planning. Our Cancer Center houses Elekta Agility Linear Accelerator with SRS and SBRT capabilities. Monaco, MIM and XIO planning systems with Mosaiq information system are used at the center and throughout the network for treatment planning and as information and image management systems. It is expected of the candidate to be proficient in the above systems and in 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS (cone and non-cone based) planning. Minimum Education requirement -Graduate from college /university or ARRT certified Radiation Therapists; CMD-Certified Medical Dosimetrist. Preferred three years experience.

Position: Pharmacist (Full Time)
Description: Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH) offers an opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our organization. Summary of position: Reviewing and interpreting prescriptions for inpatients using patient profiles to ensure that overdoses have not been prescribed. Filling prescriptions from bulk stock and unit does stock. Weighs, measures and mixes ingredients; compounds and prepares medication, emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments using such equipment as graduates, balance, mortars, pestles and funnels. Compounds and dispenses additives for IV and irrigating solutions. Mixes IV additive solutions, and chemotherapy as required using aseptic technique with the laminar airflow hood. Contacts and confers with physicians if there are any questions or irregularities regarding prescriptions. Consults with physicians and nursing staff members concerning the possible side effects and possible incompatibilities of new as well as currently used drugs. Maintains inventory and records on narcotics and other forms of drugs as required by law. Other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements are PA License and BS in Pharmacy.

Position: Director of Environmental Services (Full Time)
Description: The Director of Environmental Services will provide leadership, management, and supervision necessary to coordinate the functions and activities of the department; establishes policies, procedures, objectives and work standards; directs and administers the Environmental Services Program to maintain the hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary and attractive condition and to process linen efficiently and effectively. Summary of position: Responsible for initiating, planning, and establishing policies for the department. Initiates and directs training and quality improvement programs. Prepares the departmental budget. Accountability for staffing levels to workload in the department. Plans work schedules and assigns hours and areas of work to insure adequate services for all areas of the hospital. Assures proper infection control practices in the Laundry and Housekeeping. Looks for innovative ways to improve housekeeping and laundry technology and processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/License: Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental services leadership/management capacity; with an undergraduate degree in business, or related field.

Position: Physical Therapist (Full Time TEMP)
Description: We are looking for a full-time temporary Physical Therapist who will organize, conduct, and supervise medically prescribed physical therapy programs to assist patients in restoring function to their fullest potential; prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. Education/License: Must have attained at least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education and satisfactorily passed a written and/or oral practical examination which shall test an applicant’s knowledge of sciences, as they related to physical therapy procedures and therapy. Position: Executive Director, Physician Practice Operations (Full Time)
Description: The Executive Director will be the key person responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the day-to-day clinical and service operations management of the 18 physician offices and with work with growing staff of over 25 doctors and over 200 employees. The Executive Director of Practice Operations will be responsible for: Development and implementation of the practice philosophy, mission, role, goals, and objectives Administrative oversight and implementation of the operating policies related to the financial management of the practices Strategic direction of all provider recruitment activities, compensation planning, and quality bonus programs Human resources responsibilities including the optimum planning, staffing, organizing of the practices Administrative and practice team leadership in the achievement of all payor and governmental quality; cost and patient satisfaction benchmarks; and initiatives, including shared savings programs, quality bonus programs, and accountable care organizations. Requirements for the position include: A minimum of 5 - 7 years of medical and/or surgical practice management experience; an undergraduate degree in business and/or health services administration, Master’s degree preferred; MGMA Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) preferred.

The MRI Technologist will operate stationary, portable radiographic equipment and MRI scanner.
