Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH) and its affiliated companies partner with the Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council each year to collect donations of non-perishable goods for area food banks. This year MVH and affiliates contributed a donation of 10,735 units to the campaign which is in its 30th year. The donated goods are counted using a unit system that encourages nutritious donations. Departments and services that collected the most were The Center for Fitness and Health; Administration and Executive Offices; Fiscal, Information Systems and Corporate Accounting.
